13 September 2004 - Defensive Driving
Just a quick note to say that we attended the Defensive Driving Course yesterday at Sutton. All four of us had a great day. We all gained much knowledge whilst doing this in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. The instructors were the key, these guys made even the more mundane topics interesting and in particular ensured all participants remained involved. The manner in which they made every body comfortable in some confronting situations no matter what skill, experience or confidence ensured that we all got the most out of the day. I know that I not only learnt skills which will contribute to increasing my skill as a driver but I also a better understanding of my vehicles capabilities. Thankfully my car has some as my talents run out very quickly. I should note that both instructors catered for everybody and we were most appreciative of the 'skid-pan' sessions. Again, many thanks. I for one would highly recommend this course and have started to try and convince my wife she should do it.
